Pennsylvania Lawyers Speaking Out for Change

|
The 12th Annual PBA on the Hill provides a forum for discussion between lawyers and Pennsylvania lawmakers about the pressing issues of the day, including the need for additional state funding for civil legal services, and current pieces of legislation dealing with such issues as statutory codification, alimony, and the Uniform Real Property Electronic Recording Act
|
Those attending the program will have opportunities to meet face-to-face with state lawmakers to address issues of interest to the legal community. Attendees also are encouraged to participate in the Capitol Rotunda reception with Pennsylvania legislators, which ends Day One of the program.
The following morning, there is a special session, “Update on Uniform Laws,” which will be of particular value to government lawyers.
The entire program provides up to 5.5 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits (4.5 substantive and 1.0 ethics). Continental breakfast is available both days of the program.
A joint effort of the PBA Young Lawyers Division and the PBA Legislative Department.
