HB 225 (2) Kenyatta, Malcolm (F) (PN 195) Amends the Administrative Code, in organization of departmental administrative boards and commissions and of advisory boards and commissions, providing for Cybersecurity Innovation Commission. The bill establishes the Cybersecurity Innovation Commission to establish a framework to coordinate the activities, outcomes and informative references of the information technology offices and bureaus across all commonwealth offices and agencies. HB 229 (2) Deasy, Daniel (PN 199) Amends Title 51 (Military Affairs) adding a chapter establishing for the Combat-to-College Program. The bill requires each campus of a State higher education institution to provide the services and a coordinator as described in the bill to help student veterans go from combat to college in order to create a positive educational environment for student veterans to successfully graduate from universities and vocational degree programs while recognizing the skills, training and experience associated with military training. A Statewide Combat-to-College Task Force is established and shall report annually to the legislature. The new chapter shall expire after 15 years. Portions are effective in one year and the remainder is effective in 60 days.
